DOKENE / LEGAL

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 21, 2026

1. Project operator and scope

This Dokene website is maintained by Steven Rey Sequeira, Costa Rica. Contact: stevdrey@gmail.com. These terms describe use of the public information website and any development testing separately agreed with the maintainer. They do not create a paid subscription or provide access to a production service.

2. Product status

Dokene is in active development. Features described on the landing page express the product direction and may change, remain incomplete, or be unavailable. There is no promise of a launch date, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for live customer operations. Do not use development environments with real customer data or production messaging.

3. Acceptable use

Use this website and any authorized testing environment lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt systems, submit malicious content, misuse another person’s information, or send unsolicited messages. Development testing must use data and phone numbers you are authorized to use and comply with applicable messaging-provider rules.

4. WhatsApp and third-party services

WhatsApp integrations depend on Meta’s services, permissions, account eligibility, and policies. We cannot guarantee account approval, message acceptance, or message delivery. A project test does not grant permission to contact other people. Participating testers must respect consent and requests to stop contact. Third-party links are provided for convenience and are governed by the third party’s own terms.

5. Open-source software

The Dokene repository is published under AGPL-3.0-or-later, as specified in its source repository. Rights to use, modify, and distribute the source code are governed by that license. These website terms do not replace or restrict rights granted by the software license.

6. Availability and responsibility

The information website and development materials are provided as available, without a commitment to support or service levels. You remain responsible for decisions based on the information and for protecting any data used in testing. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Privacy and contact

Read our Privacy Policy for information about website requests, correspondence, and development testing. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to stevdrey@gmail.com.

8. Changes and future services

These terms may be updated as the project develops. A production offering, if launched, will require terms appropriate to that offering. Any separate testing agreement remains applicable to the testing it covers.
